Kooleshwari is a 45-year-old homemaker. She lives in a joint family in Byappanahalli. She became aware of the Income Generation Program (IGP) through other mothers in her community who were enrolled in the training. Seeing an opportunity to contribute to her family’s income, she decided to join the program with support from a contract.
For the past three months, Koleeshwari has shown remarkable dedication to the IGP, regularly attending training. With her training complete, Koleeshwari now plans to start stitching from home, intending to generate income through the production and sale of her items. Her journey in the IGP has not only enhanced her skills but also empowered her with the confidence and initiative needed to contribute to her family’s financial stability, making meaningful strides toward overcoming their financial limitations.
