Our Philosophies
Vathsalya Charitable Trust : “Shaping Destinies”
At Vathsalya, we believe in shaping young minds and nurturing futures. As Haim Ginott wisely said, “Children are like wet cement; whatever falls on them makes an impression.”
We embrace the idea that while parents hold the primary key to their child’s experiences, teachers share the responsibility: “Teachers have a spare key. They, too, can open or close the minds and hearts of children.”
Guided by the principle, “Those who have less to eat, must eat right,” we are committed to combating malnutrition and ensuring that every meal counts.
We also champion the journey of personal growth for women, inspired by the belief: “The woman I was yesterday introduced me to the woman I am today, which makes me excited about meeting the woman I will become tomorrow.”
Our Purpose
Serving the nutritional and educational needs of the city’s migrant communities.
