Antony Casper is a three-year-old who belongs to a migrant family from Tamil Nadu. His father, Anand, passed away a year ago from ingesting poison after a traumatic incident. This has taken a toll on Antony’s mother, who also struggles with serious mental health issues. The tragedy has also taken a toll on Antony’s growth. Antony’s sister, Mary Crishilda, lives with her paternal grandparents and is currently studying in Divya Shanthi School. Her education is being supported by her maternal family.
Antony suffers from a speech impairment. He can only communicate through his actions. His family is unable to afford treatment or education for him. However, he receives nutri-meals through the CNP Program.
VCT also provided ration kits thrice, for which the family is grateful. They have requested support from VCT and want to enrol both children in the CNP program.
