Family Background: Shreeja’s mother died two days after her brother’s birth. This caused her father to go into depression as he struggled to look after his children.
Association with VCT: Shreeja’s father approached VCT for educational support. Shreeja is currently enrolled in Colonel Hill School. Her fees have been waived off apart from the amount that VCT sponsors. Now the father is able to work without much stress. The baby is being looked after by the mother’s sister in Tamil Nadu. Shreeja is happy going to school, and studies well.
